Fox 2000 Pictures

Fox 2000 Pictures was an American film production company founded on January 7, 1994, by Laura Ziskin as a division of 20th Century Fox, specializing in mid-budget literary adaptations and original films that largely targeted underserved audiences — including women and diverse communities. Under the long tenure of President Elizabeth Gabler (1999–2021), the label became known for acclaimed hits such as Fight Club (1999), The Devil Wears Prada (2006), Life of Pi (2012), Hidden Figures (2016), and Love, Simon (2018), producing over 70 films in total. Following The Walt Disney Company's $71.3 billion acquisition of 21st Century Fox on March 20, 2019, Disney announced the label's closure; Fox 2000 officially dissolved on May 14, 2021, after its final production, The Woman in the Window, was released on Netflix.
