Forward Pass

Forward Pass, Inc. is the personal production company of acclaimed writer-director-producer Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral, The Insider, Miami Vice), incorporated in California and headquartered in Los Angeles. Originally operating as Michael Mann Productions — where it produced landmark television series Miami Vice and Crime Story — the company was renamed Forward Pass upon expanding into feature film production. It is a boutique shingle with a small core staff, producing all of Mann's directorial projects across film and television.
