About

Film Stockholm AB is a regional film fund owned by Region Stockholm and operated in close collaboration with the City of Stockholm and Botkyrka municipality. Its primary mandate is to co-produce films and TV drama in all formats, operate the Stockholm Film Commission, and support talent development and skills training in the film industry. The company serves as the production hub for film and TV in the Stockholm region, investing in productions that create jobs, generate regional tax revenues, and enhance Stockholm's cultural profile. It was established in spring 2021, incorporating the former Filmbasen talent development unit, and superseded Film Capital Stockholm (dissolved 2020–2021).
