Film Heritage Foundation

Film Heritage Foundation (FHF) is a not-for-profit organization founded in Mumbai in 2014 by award-winning filmmaker and archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur. It is dedicated to the conservation, preservation, restoration, and archiving of India's cinematic heritage, and is the only non-governmental organization in India working in the field of film preservation. FHF is an associate member of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) since 2015, and has restored landmark films including Sholay (1975), Do Bigha Zamin (1953), and Aranyer Din Ratri (1970) in collaboration with international partners such as The Criterion Collection, Janus Films, and Martin Scorsese's The Film Foundation.
