Davo Hardy ProductionsFollow

Davo Hardy Productions is the independent Australian production and self-distribution banner of Sydney-based filmmaker Davo Hardy, who writes, directs, produces, edits, and self-distributes his entire feature and short film catalogue via DavoHardyFilms.com. Operating entirely outside the traditional studio and government-funding system, the company is known for confronting, cerebral, and socially inclusive storytelling exploring themes of identity, disability, and LGBTQ+ experience. It is notable for A Silent Agreement (2017), the first Australian feature film to prominently feature Auslan (Australian Sign Language) with authentic profoundly deaf characters, and for a string of self-financed and self-released indie features produced at a prolific pace since 2014.
