Boat Rocker Studios is an independent, integrated global entertainment company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, founded in 2003 by David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg. The company creates, produces, and distributes premium Scripted, Unscripted, Documentary, and Kids & Family content across all genres and platforms, backed by end-to-end creative expertise, global distribution, and franchise management. Following a management buyout completed in August 2025, the studio returned to private ownership under co-founders Fortier and Schneeberg alongside longtime partner and CEO John Young, operating under the holding company IDJCo. Known for award-winning series including Orphan Black, Invasion, Palm Royale, Dino Ranch, and Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, the studio maintains offices in Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, London, and Hong Kong.
