Benderspink was a Hollywood management-production company co-founded in 1998 by Chris Bender and J.C. Spink, both alumni of Bucknell University, after they worked as assistants at Zide-Perry Productions. The company specialized in spec script sales, talent management, and feature film production, operating primarily through a long-running first-look deal with New Line Cinema that began in 1999, as well as later deals with CBS Studios, Fox 21, and Universal Cable Productions. Known for producing or executive producing such films as The Hangover trilogy, The Ring franchise, A History of Violence, The Butterfly Effect, We're the Millers, and Horrible Bosses, the company was dissolved in May 2016 when Bender and Spink announced an amicable split after nearly 18 years together; Spink subsequently passed away in April 2017.
