Ascendant Films is an independent UK film production company co-founded by producer Bart Ruspoli and filmmaker Freddie Hutton-Mills. The company also operated a bespoke UK film distribution arm under the name Ascendant Releasing, focused on giving producers and investors maximum transparency and first-dollar revenue sharing. Ascendant Films is best known for producing the critically acclaimed, multi-BAFTA and BIFA-nominated single-take restaurant drama Boiling Point (2021), after which Bart Ruspoli's Ascendant Films merged with Hester Ruoff's Burton Fox Films to form the successor banner Ascendant Fox.
