20th Television Animation

20th Television Animation (formerly Fox Television Animation) is an American animation studio and production company, established on May 19, 1999, and currently a standalone unit of Disney Television Studios under The Walt Disney Company. The studio specializes in creating, developing, and producing primarily adult animated television series and specials — including landmark franchises such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, American Dad!, Futurama, and King of the Hill — and focuses on animation pre-production and post-production while subcontracting actual animation to third-party studios. Relaunched as an independent unit in March 2021 under president Marci Proietto, it is widely regarded as the most prolific studio in adult animation and a cornerstone of the Fox network's Sunday animation lineup. In late 2025, the studio relocated from the Fox Studio Lot to Walt Disney Studios in Burbank.
