Ghostwriter

Part mystery, part comedy, Ghostwriter is an update of the hit 90's series of the same name that pits the supernatural against the super normal. When 11--year--old Ruben’s mom passes away, she leaves him her unfinished book, a book that unbeknownst to him unlocks the ability for him & his two friends to communicate with a variety of ghost writers. These writers enlist the trio to help them return escaped characters to their respective books. Unfortunately, the ghosts can only communicate in short spurts & only by manipulating the available text around them. To make matters worse, the escaped characters are only visible to Ruben & his friends; the damage they cause however, is not. With time never on their side, it’s up to Ruben, Donna and Curtis to solve who the mysterious writers are so they figure out how to capture their escaped characters, oh, & survive school at the same time.
