Tom McKay is a London-based comedy and drama television director originally from Blackburn, Lancashire, who began his career at the BBC in Manchester. He is best known for directing the BAFTA-nominated Jerk (BBC Three) and There She Goes (BBC Two), as well as developing and directing all three series of Drunk History UK for Comedy Central and Bloods for Sky. He has since moved into higher-profile drama, directing episodes of Ten Pound Poms (BBC One/Stan) and After the Flood Series 2 (ITV/BritBox), and most recently completed filming on The Cadburys, a six-episode BritBox/UKTV period drama launching in 2027.
