Sonia Friedman CBE is a British West End and Broadway theatre producer, widely regarded as one of the most powerful and prolific producers working in theatre today. She is the founder and leader of Sonia Friedman Productions (SFP), which since 2002 has developed, initiated, and produced over 300 productions worldwide, winning 74 Olivier Awards, 62 Tony Awards, and 3 BAFTAs. In 2025, she co-founded TOGETHER with Hugh Jackman, a new company dedicated to intimate and accessible live theatre. Named by the New York Times as 'the most powerful producer working in theater' in 2025, she was also listed among Vogue's 25 most influential women working today and has been a Variety500 Honoree seven years running.
