Sevak 'Sev' Ohanian is an Armenian-American film producer and screenwriter born in West Germany and based in Los Angeles, best known as co-writer and producer of Searching (2018) and Run (2020), and as producer of Sinners (2025), for which he won a Golden Globe and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture — making him the first Armenian-American ever nominated in that category. He is a co-founder of Proximity Media alongside Ryan Coogler and Zinzi Coogler, which holds an overall TV deal with Disney and is currently in production on the X-Files reboot pilot at Hulu. Named to Variety's 41 Leaders Under 40 in 2025 and inducted as the inaugural member of the Armenian Film Hall of Fame, Ohanian taught producing as an adjunct professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts from 2014 to 2018.
