Sevak 'Sev' Ohanian is an Armenian-American film producer and screenwriter born in Hadamar, West Germany, and based in Los Angeles. He is a co-founder of Proximity Media alongside Ryan Coogler and Zinzi Coogler, best known for co-writing and producing Searching (2018) and Run (2020), and producing Sinners (2025), for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Cinematic & Box Office Achievement and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture — making him the first Armenian-American ever nominated in that category. He holds the PGA Producers Mark (p.g.a.) and is currently producing the X-Files reboot pilot at Hulu and the spy thriller Doppelgänger at Skydance, both through Proximity Media.
