Serena Whitney is a Toronto-based film programmer, screenwriter, and producer who currently serves as Director of Programming at Revue Cinema, a community-focused independent cinema. She is the creator and lead curator of the monthly screening series Drunken Cinema and Drunken TV, and co-hosts the Movies and Chaos podcast. As a filmmaker, she co-wrote and co-produced the horror short Do You See What I See? (2016) with Justin McConnell, and co-wrote the feature screenplay Mark of Kane (a Canada-Australia co-production adapted from Michael Prescott's cult novel), while also serving as a producer on Lifechanger (2018). She launched her industry career as a film critic and reviewer, writing for numerous media outlets over a decade before transitioning into production.
