Sean Thomas Flanagan is the founder of Magnetbox Films and co-founder of Magnetbox Services, a multimedia agency offering film development, production, marketing, and distribution services for independent filmmakers. He made his name in film distribution through work at Buffalo 8, Visual Data Media, Premiere Digital, and Cinema Libre Studios, overseeing the release of over 1,000 films for clients including Sundance Institute, Pokémon, Funimation, FilmRise, Paradigm, and CAA. As a writer-producer, he has partnered with Tony Award-winning Tanniger Entertainment and produced or has in production multiple features including Easy Does It!, The Potwins, and Shady Grove. He is also an active mentor, panelist, and jury member at festivals and organizations including the New Orleans Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, USC Film School, and Women in Film.
