Scotty Mullen is an award-winning screenwriter and casting director known for his work with Syfy, Lionsgate, Lifetime, and Tubi. Originally from small-town Kansas and educated at Georgia State University in Atlanta, he now works from Los Angeles. He broke through writing Sharknado 5: Global Swarming and has since written 30 produced screenplays filmed in 7 countries, almost all on assignment. He also serves as a writing mentor at the Rocaberti Castle Writers' Retreat and offers audition coaching and script consulting services.
