Sanford Panitch is an American film industry executive and currently serves as President of Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, where he oversees all movie development and production for the studio. He joined Sony in 2015 as President of International Film & Television, was named President of Columbia Pictures in 2016, and was elevated to co-President of the Motion Picture Group in October 2019, becoming sole President following Josh Greenstein's departure to Paramount in 2025. Prior to Sony, Panitch founded and led Fox International Productions from 2008–2015, a division of 20th Century Fox focused on local-language content across international markets, which generated $900 million in box-office receipts under his tenure.
