Sam Hoffman is an award-winning producer, director, and writer who has worked across film, television, and digital media. He is best known for producing and directing the CBS drama Madam Secretary (all six seasons), Executive Producing Seasons 3–4 of the Paramount+ supernatural drama Evil, and writing/directing the feature film Humor Me (2017), which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival. He also created the viral web series Old Jews Telling Jokes (over 50 million views) and produced acclaimed features including Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom and John Carney's Begin Again. As of 2026, Hoffman is Executive Producing and directing Cupertino for CBS Studios and has recently EP'd Furious for Hulu.
