About
Rob Cowan is a veteran Hollywood film producer with over 40 years of experience and more than 45 productions to his credit, spanning action, horror, thriller, comedy, and drama. A graduate of the University of British Columbia's Film and Television program (1980), he began his career as an assistant director in Canada before rising to President of Winkler Films, where he produced acclaimed titles including The Net, Life as a House, and De-Lovely. Striking out on his own in 2006, Cowan has produced major studio blockbusters including The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, San Andreas, Aquaman, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, developing long-standing creative partnerships with director James Wan and actress Melissa McCarthy. He is based in Los Angeles.
