Peter Kang is the President of Production at Sony's Columbia Pictures, promoted to the role in July 2025 following Josh Greenstein's departure. He joined Columbia in March 2019 as EVP of Production after serving as co-president of production at Lionsgate (2016–2019), where he oversaw films including 'A Simple Favor' and 'The Spy Who Dumped Me.' Prior to Lionsgate, Kang spent three years as EVP Production at Paramount — working on 'Top Gun: Maverick' — and before that spent 17 years at 20th Century Fox, where he oversaw the 'Planet of the Apes' reboot franchise and packaged properties such as 'Gone Girl,' 'The Maze Runner' series, and 'The Blind Side.' At Columbia, he played a key role in launching the PlayStation Productions collaboration, yielding 'Uncharted' and 'Gran Turismo,' and is currently overseeing the production of 'The Legend of Zelda.'
