About
Michelle Stein (née Eastwood) is a BAFTA and RTS nominated, BIFA-winning British film and television producer based in Manchester/North West England. Co-founder of The Fold (est. 2023) alongside Jennifer Monks, a Liverpool/Manchester-based production company whose credits include Moin Hussain's 'Sky Peals' (Venice Critics' Week 2023) and Ted Evans' 'Retreat' (TIFF 2025). Named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2009, she trained at the National Film and Television School and holds a BA from the University of Oxford; her previous company Escape Films was a BFI Vision Award recipient. She is currently executive producing Babak Jalali's 'A Town in Nova Scotia' starring Bill Nighy, which has recently wrapped production in Liverpool.
