Michelle Stein (née Eastwood) is a BAFTA and RTS nominated, BIFA winning British film and television producer based in the North West of England. An NFTS graduate and Screen Star of Tomorrow (2009), she is co-founder of The Fold, a Liverpool/Manchester-based production company launched with Jennifer Monks in 2023. Her recent features include the sci-fi 'Sky Peals' (2024, Film4/BFI/Screen Yorkshire, Venice Critics' Week) and 'Retreat' (2025, BFI/BBC Film/Creative UK, TIFF premiere), and she has produced award-winning shorts screened at Cannes, SXSW, Tribeca, and LFF. Her previous company, Escape Films, was a recipient of the BFI Vision Award.
