Margery Simkin is one of Hollywood's most celebrated casting directors, with a career spanning over four decades and more than 80 film and television credits. Originally from Metuchen, New Jersey, she is best known for her long collaborations with director James Cameron on the Avatar franchise, as well as iconic films including Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop, Field of Dreams, Brazil, Erin Brockovich, Twelve Monkeys, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. She currently operates as Simkin/Sitowitz Casting alongside partner Orly Sitowitz, with recent credits including Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Blue Eye Samurai, Avatar: Fire and Ash, and Animal Farm. She is a CSA member and four-time Artios Award winner.
