Luke Sparke is an Australian writer-director and founder of Sparke Films Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based independent production company specialising in high-concept action and science fiction genre films. He gained international recognition with the alien-invasion feature Occupation (2018) and its sequel Occupation: Rainfall (2020), and has since directed Devil Beneath (2023), Bring Him to Me (2023), Scurry (2024), and the prehistoric war film Primitive War (2025). A prolific multi-hyphenate, Sparke frequently serves simultaneously as director, writer, editor, production designer, and VFX supervisor on his projects.
