Kevin A. Lopez is a New York-based Colombian-American independent film and documentary director, editor, and producer. He is known for narrative and documentary features including The Hudson Tribes (2016), Primera (2021), and La salsa vive (2025), and co-founded LPZ Media with his brother John Marco Lopez in 2010. In addition to his filmmaking work, he serves as the Founding Principal of Motion Picture Technical High School in Queens, NY, where he creates pathways between CTE classrooms and the film & television industry. His work has screened at the Tribeca Film Festival and appeared on major streaming services.
