John M. Penotti is a veteran American film and television producer with over 55 credits who has produced projects grossing hundreds of millions of dollars worldwide. He co-founded GreeneStreet Films in 2001, founded Ivanhoe Pictures in 2013, and co-founded SK Global Entertainment (formed by Ivanhoe's merger with Sidney Kimmel Entertainment), where he served as Co-CEO and later Chief Creative Officer until Centricus acquired it in 2022. He is best known for producing the landmark box office hit Crazy Rich Asians (2018) and the Academy Award Best Picture nominee Hell or High Water (2016), and is widely regarded as a pioneer of international local-language production strategies across Asia, Latin America, and Europe. He now operates as CEO of his own Penotti Pictures banner.
