John Marco Lopez is a Colombian-American independent writer-director and co-founder of LPZ Media, a film and commercial production company he established with his brother Kevin A. Lopez in 2010. He began his career as a PA on music videos in New York before joining Grey NY as an in-house director, producing commercials for major brands including Canon, Cadillac, and McDonald's. He has written and directed three feature films — The Inquisition of Camilo Sanz (acquired by HBO Latino), The Hudson Tribes (acquired by Amazon Prime), and Paradise City (2019, released on Amazon, iTunes, and Vudu) — earning a Sports Emmy nomination for his documentary work. LPZ Media is based in Atwater Village, Los Angeles, and specializes in feature films, branded documentaries, and commercial content for the Latin American market.
