Jimmy Mulville (born 5 January 1955, Liverpool) is the co-founder and Managing Director of Hat Trick Productions, one of the UK's leading independent production companies, which he established in 1986 with Denise O'Donoghue and Rory McGrath. He created Have I Got News For You in 1990 and has overseen landmark series including Father Ted, Derry Girls, Outnumbered, Episodes, Drop the Dead Donkey, and Whose Line Is It Anyway?. He also co-founded HTM Television with Jed Mercurio, which struck a multi-year first-look deal with 20th Television in 2021. In 1999, he and co-founder Denise O'Donoghue jointly received the BAFTA Alan Clarke Award for their outstanding creative contribution to television.
