Jason Goldberg is an American film and television producer born in 1972 in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. He is best known for co-founding Katalyst Media with Ashton Kutcher in 2000, where he served as CEO and created, executive produced, and directed MTV's landmark hidden-camera series Punk'd (2003–2007). He also executive produced Beauty and the Geek (CW) and produced feature films including The Butterfly Effect (2004), Guess Who (2005), Spread (2009), and Killers (2010). From 2016 he joined STX Entertainment, rising to Chief Creative Officer of their Digital & New Media Group and Alternative Content division, overseeing global unscripted content including FBoy Island (HBO Max/CW, 2021–2024) and the 2024 digital reimagining of Punk'd as 'Punk You' on YouTube.
