Jarin Blaschke, ASC (born September 28, 1978, Westminster, California) is a two-time Academy Award-nominated director of photography best known for his ongoing creative partnership with director Robert Eggers across five features: The Witch (2015), The Lighthouse (2019), The Northman (2022), Nosferatu (2024), and Werwulf (in production). His signature style is defined by desaturated palettes, practical candlelight and firelight, symmetrical Renaissance-inspired compositions, and a commitment to 35mm film with vintage optics. He won the Independent Spirit Award and ASC Spotlight Award for The Lighthouse, the Critics' Choice Award and National Board of Review Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography for Nosferatu, and was formally inducted into the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) in February 2026. He is currently based in England.
