George Ormond is a veteran British television executive producer and, as of January 2026, Joint Managing Director of The Forge Entertainment (a Banijay UK company), which he joined at its inception in 2014. He has executive produced a raft of acclaimed UK dramas including Jack Thorne's BAFTA and RTS award-winning National Treasure, Kiri, and The Accident for Channel 4/Hulu, as well as Shardlake (Disney+), Becoming Elizabeth (Starz), and all five series of Ackley Bridge. Before The Forge, he was an Executive Producer at the BBC, where he produced Sarah Phelps' BAFTA and Emmy award-winning Great Expectations and developed the 2016 War and Peace adaptation. His most recent credit is executive producing Falling (2026, Channel 4), starring Keeley Hawes and Paapa Essiedu.
