About
Frank Merle is an American screenwriter, director, and producer based in Los Angeles who founded Lone Morsel Productions. He previously served as Artistic Director of Chicago's Keyhole Theatre Company, co-founding it after graduating summa cum laude from The Theatre School at DePaul University, before transitioning to film in 2006. He is best known for writing, directing, and producing the psychological thriller The Employer (2013), starring Malcolm McDowell and Billy Zane, and From Jennifer (2017), and his most recent feature Namaka (2025), a tiki dark fantasy starring Jamie Kennedy that won 15 film festival awards. He is a proud member of the Producers Guild of America.
