Francesca Sloane is an American screenwriter, showrunner, and television producer raised between Philadelphia and El Salvador, best known for co-creating, executive producing, and serving as showrunner on the Amazon Prime Video series Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024) alongside Donald Glover — earning two Primetime Emmy nominations and three WGA nominations for the first season. She previously served as supervising producer and writer on FX's Atlanta and Fargo, and began her career on the staffs of Seven Seconds and StartUp. In September 2025, Sloane signed an exclusive two-year overall deal with HBO, where she is writing the first episode and executive producing Big Little Lies Season 3 alongside David E. Kelley, Reese Witherspoon, and Nicole Kidman.
