About
Christina Piovesan is a Canadian film and television producer and the founder and principal of First Generation Films (FGF), a Toronto-based independent production company she launched in 2007. An alumna of the University of Southern California, she has produced a wide range of critically acclaimed, internationally distributed features including The Whistleblower, Regression, The Nest, French Exit, Infinity Pool, and Alice, Darling. Since 2016 she has also held a partnership at Elevation Pictures as head of production, and has expanded her slate into scripted TV, kids & family animation, and documentary content. She was named Playback's Producer of the Year for 2022 and is a member of the PGA and CMPA.
