Chad Stahelski (born September 20, 1968, Palmer, Massachusetts) is an American stuntman-turned-filmmaker widely regarded as one of the most influential action directors working today. He co-founded 87Eleven Entertainment in 1997 with David Leitch and Damon Caro, and made his feature directorial debut with John Wick (2014), going on to solo-direct all three sequels in the franchise — a billion-dollar global phenomenon. In February 2024, Lionsgate appointed him to oversee both the John Wick and Highlander franchises across film, TV, and multimedia platforms, and he subsequently signed a multi-year first-look production deal with Lionsgate through 87Eleven Entertainment; his Highlander remake starring Henry Cavill later moved to Amazon MGM/United Artists in 2025.
