Cassian Elwes (born August 7, 1959, London) is a British independent film producer, former talent agent, and founder/President of Elevated Films (also operating as Elevated Film Sales), based in Los Angeles. He spent 15 years as co-head of William Morris Independent, arranging financing and distribution for over 250 films including Sling Blade, Monster's Ball, and The Apostle. Since launching Elevated Films, he has produced or executive produced acclaimed indie features including the Oscar-winning Dallas Buyers Club, Dee Rees' Mudbound (sold to Netflix for $12.5M at Sundance 2017), and Lee Daniels' The Butler. He co-launched the $100M NextG Brothers Fund with Edward Zeng at Cannes 2024, and is currently producing the crime biopic Gambino, directed by John Woo and starring Nicolas Cage, with production slated for summer 2026 in Atlanta.
