Benjamin Ketai is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer born in West Bloomfield, Michigan, who works primarily in the horror, thriller, and crime genres. He rose to prominence through his Ghost House Pictures collaborations, directing and writing 30 Days of Night: Dark Days (2010) and the web series 30 Days of Night: Dust to Dust. His most notable achievement is creating, writing, directing, and showrunning the three-season Crackle crime-drama StartUp (2016–2018), starring Adam Brody, Martin Freeman, and Edi Gathegi. His screenwriting credits include The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018, co-written with Bryan Bertino) and River Wild (2023), which he also directed.
