About
Anne Clements is an award-winning independent film and television producer and founder of Idiot Savant Pictures, based in the New York/New Jersey area. Her debut feature Quinceañera (2006) won the Sundance Audience Award and Grand Jury Prize, a Humanitas Prize, and the Film Independent John Cassavetes Award for Best Feature, and she earned a Producer's Award nomination at the Independent Spirit Awards for both that film and Ping Pong Playa. On the television side, she won a 2014 Daytime Emmy for the series I Promise, produced multiple series for Sony Crackle including StartUp and The Oath, and held a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television. In 2021 she signed an overall deal with Yale Productions, with credits including The Kill Room, As Sick As They Made Us, Panama, and Undercard (2025).
