About

Award-winning producer, director, and financier Andrew van den Houten is a native New Yorker raised on Manhattan's Upper West Side who has been involved in the development, financing, production, and distribution of over eighty feature films. He is the founder of Hood River Entertainment (Los Angeles-based), a partner in Kamikaze Dogfight (film distributor/financier), and co-founder of BLacklight with director Wes Miller. His work has been recognized at Sundance, TIFF, Independent Spirit Awards, SXSW, Fantastic Fest, and more. In 2026, he completed a new psychological horror-thriller feature, with premiere and release details forthcoming.
