Zanuck Independent is a Beverly Hills-based independent film production company founded by Dean Zanuck — son of legendary producer Richard D. Zanuck and third-generation member of the storied Zanuck Hollywood dynasty. Formed in 2004 as a division of The Zanuck Company, the banner focuses on original, non-franchise storytelling across feature films, animation, and scripted television. Notable productions include the critically acclaimed comedy-drama Get Low (2009, Sony Pictures Classics), Terry Gilliam's sci-fi fantasy The Zero Theorem (2013), and the supernatural thriller Voice from the Stone (2017) starring Emilia Clarke.
