Zadan Productions

Zadan Productions (formally known as Storyline Entertainment and rebranded as Zadan/Meron Productions in 2018) is an award-winning independent production company co-founded by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, specializing in musical adaptations, live television events, feature films, and Broadway productions. The company is best known for producing the Oscar-winning Best Picture film Chicago (2002), Hairspray (2007), the NBC live musical franchise (The Sound of Music Live!, Peter Pan Live!, The Wiz Live!, Hairspray Live!), and three consecutive Academy Awards telecasts (2013–2015). Following Craig Zadan's death in August 2018, producing partner Neil Meron has continued to operate the company, which is based at Universal Television in Universal City, CA.
