Wonderful Films

Wonderful Films is an independent film and television production company founded by producer William 'Bill' Horberg, formerly of Mirage Enterprises and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment. The company is best known for producing The Queen's Gambit (Netflix, 2020), the most-watched scripted limited series in Netflix history, which won the Golden Globe, Critics Choice, and PGA awards for Best Limited Series. Horberg established the company in 2009 after years as a senior executive at Paramount Pictures and as a partner with Sydney Pollack and Anthony Minghella at Mirage Enterprises.
