About

Women of Wrestling (WOW), legally incorporated as WOW Television Enterprises, LLC, is the United States' only nationally syndicated all-female professional wrestling promotion, co-owned and co-founded by Los Angeles Lakers owner/president Jeanie Buss and David McLane (creator of GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling). Originally launched in 2000 and revived on AXS TV in 2019, WOW relaunched in national weekend syndication in Fall 2022 via CBS Media Ventures/Paramount Global Content Distribution — described as the largest media distribution deal for an organization solely promoting women's wrestling in U.S. history. The show is character-driven sports entertainment branded around 'WOW Superheroes,' with ancillary licensing, merchandise, a podcast, a card game, a FAST channel (Wrestling Central on The Roku Channel, launched May 2025 in partnership with the NWA), and a Season 5 renewal announced in 2026.
