About

Wild Swim Films is a London-based independent film production company founded in 2019 by producers Emily Leo and Ivana MacKinnon, both of whom had previously won the BAFTA Outstanding British Film Debut award for Under the Shadow (2017) and Beast (2019) respectively. The company is best known for producing Molly Manning Walker's How to Have Sex, which won the main Un Certain Regard prize at Cannes 2023 and received three BIFA wins and three BAFTA nominations, along with other critically acclaimed features including Nocebo (2022), Tuesday (2023), and Bring Them Down (2024). Wild Swim has strong relationships with UK public funders and broadcasters including Film4, the BFI, and the BBC, and was a recipient of the BBC's Small Indie Fund and the UK Global Screen Fund in 2024.
