Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures

Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures is the live stage production and licensing division of Warner Bros. Entertainment (a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery), founded in May 2003 to develop, produce, and license musicals and plays based on the Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, HBO, and DC intellectual property libraries. Operating primarily from New York, the division has produced acclaimed Broadway productions including The Lost Boys (4 Tony Awards, 2026), The Outsiders (Tony Award-winning Best Musical, 2024), Beetlejuice, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Bridges of Madison County. The division also oversees global stage licensing for titles such as The Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, 42nd Street, and Elf: The Musical, and is developing upcoming projects including Crazy Rich Asians, Happy Feet, and A Star is Born.
