Walt Disney Television Alternative

Walt Disney Television Alternative (stylized as 'wdt alternative') is the unscripted and alternative programming production unit of Disney Television Studios, established in February 2021 under EVP Rob Mills. The division develops and produces reality series, docuseries, competition formats, and primetime specials for ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals, Disney+, and other platforms within the Disney ecosystem. It was created to reduce dependence on third-party studios by centralizing in-house non-scripted production, generating original unscripted content across the full Disney platform portfolio.
