Valerie McCaffrey Casting

Valerie McCaffrey Casting is an independent casting and talent management office based in Encino, California, operated by veteran casting director Valerie McCaffrey. McCaffrey previously served as Vice President of Feature Film Casting at New Line Cinema and Director of Casting at Universal Studios before launching her independent practice, through which she has cast over 125 films including Oscar-nominated titles such as Babe and American History X. In 2006, she expanded her operation under the banner McCaffrey Talent Management, co-run with her daughter Vanessa McCaffrey, representing actors for film and television. The office is known for discovering breakout talent, most notably casting Ellen Page's first American film role in Hard Candy and Edward Norton in American History X.
