UFA Fiction GmbH is a German production company for scripted film and television, founded in August 2013 through the merger of UFA subsidiaries teamWorx, Phoenix Film, and UFA Fernsehproduktion. It produces series, TV movies, high-end drama, event series, and feature films, and is one of the market leaders in European scripted content with two International Emmy Award wins. Notable productions include Ku'damm 56/59/63, Deutschland 83/86/89, Charité, Where's Wanda? (Apple TV+), and Maxton Hall (Prime Video). UFA Fiction operates as a production unit under UFA GmbH, which is a subsidiary of Fremantle (RTL Group / Bertelsmann).
