The Wolper Organization

The Wolper Organization is a legendary film and television production company founded in 1958 by David L. Wolper and now led by his son, Mark Wolper, operating as a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Entertainment (Warner Bros. Discovery). The company holds one of the longest consecutive studio deals in entertainment history with Warner Bros. Television Group and has been responsible for over 500 films and hundreds of hours of television, earning more than 150 awards including two Oscars, 50 Emmys, seven Golden Globes, and five Peabodys. It is best known for iconic projects such as Roots, The Thorn Birds, North and South, L.A. Confidential, Bates Motel, and the 2024 feature Salem's Lot.
