The Theater Center, Anne L. Bernstein Theater

The Anne L. Bernstein Theater is one of two Off-Broadway performance spaces within The Theater Center, a 20,000-square-foot multi-venue entertainment complex located at the corner of 50th Street and Broadway in Times Square, New York City. The Bernstein is a 199-seat proscenium theater fully equipped with lights, projectors, and a built-in sound system, and is also available for corporate events, conferences, and private rentals. The complex — originally opened as the Snapple Theater Center on May 22, 2006, and renamed The Theater Center in May 2016 — was built by actress and producer Catherine Russell, marking Off-Broadway's first corporate naming sponsorship. The theater is best known as the long-running home of Perfect Crime, the longest-running non-musical play in New York theater history, and the space was formally named after producer Anne L. Bernstein in 2012.
