The Ford Theatres

The Ford Theatres (officially the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre), located in the Cahuenga Pass in Hollywood, is one of Los Angeles's oldest performing arts venues, built in 1920 and owned by the County of Los Angeles. The 1,200-seat outdoor amphitheater presents an eclectic summer season (June–October) of music, dance, theater, film, and family events reflective of LA County's diverse communities. The venue is operated by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association in partnership with the County, serving as a sister venue to the Hollywood Bowl and Walt Disney Concert Hall.
